*The Korku tribe is an indigenous community in central India, known for its rich cultural traditions, agricultural lifestyle, and deep connection to nature.

Welcome to Chilauri Art, a 100% women-led initiative dedicated to empowering rural artisans through the creation of beautiful, handmade products. Our mission is to provide women with skills, resources, and opportunities to thrive in the creative industry while preserving traditional art forms.

We offer comprehensive training and mentorship programs to learn art forms such as Mandala, Warli, Madhubani, and Gond.

Our Vision
We envision a world where every artisan has access to education, resources, and opportunities to grow their craft and achieve financial independence. Through our initiatives, we aim to empower 500 women artisans over the next three years.

Our Story
Founded by Varsha Solanki with co-founder Pradeep Sitoke, Chilauri Art started with a simple yet powerful idea: to empower women in rural India through traditional crafts. Today, we work with 20 talented artisans and have successfully sold over 500 Chilauri bags, with a goal to sell 1,000 bags in the next six months.

Led by founder Varsha Solanki, our diverse team comprises skilled trainers, creative designers, and dedicated support staff, all committed to uplifting our artisans and preserving cultural heritage.

Together, we foster a supportive environment where creativity thrives, innovation flourishes, and every team member contributes to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our artisans and their communities.
